A Wonderful Antique Rose de France Amethyst Silver Necklace, Vintage Art Deco, 1930's Style, Renaissance Revival. This beautiful antique piece holds a faceted rose de France amethyst stone at center surrounded by 835 European silver. The setting has wonderful period detailing in the Renaissance revival motif, popular around 1930. The chain and exterior of the setting are washed in yellow gold. The bail is marked for 835 silver. The pendant comes with the chain as shown measuring about 16 inches long. The pendant measures about 1 5/8 inches long with bail by about 7/8 inch wide from side to side. This piece was acquired through an estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition.
