Antique Mikimoto Pearl Earrings Vintage Art Deco 4mm SS Wedding c.1930-50's

An Exquisite Pair of Antique Mikimoto Pearl Earrings, Vintage Art Deco, circa 1930-50's, 4mm Akoya Pearls in Sterling Silver. These estate earrings hold beautiful Mikimoto luminous pearls, measuring about 4mm in diameter. Mikimoto pearls are regarded as some of the best quality pearls in the world. The settings are sterling silver with wonderful Retro Art Deco styling and bits of engraved details. These earrings were converted from screw back original backings to pots for pierced ears. The Mikimoto hallmark was lost in the conversion but this is a known Mikimoto design. Each earring measures about 13/16 inch long by about 1/2 inch wide from side to side. These earrings were acquired through an estate collection and are in lovely vintage condition.
