Antique Italian Coral Cameo Ring Vintage Art Nouveau Deco Filigree Ostby Barton Gold

A Wonderful Antique Italian Coral Cameo Ring, Vintage Art Nouveau - Art Deco Era, circa 1900 with ornate yellow gold filigree setting Attributed to Ostby Barton. This superb estate ring holds a finely carved Italian Coral cameo at its center, Italian in origin, circa 1900. The cameo itself is about 10 x 12mm. The setting is an excellent example of Art Nouveau - Art Deco design with beautiful details and attributed to Ostby Barton. Although not marked with their hallmark, the motifs of the design of the setting are very characteristic of Ostby Barton, one of the premier jewelry manufacturers of the Era. The ring appears to have been sized down over the years and the original markings could have been removed. One of the founders of Ostby Barton parished on the Titanic, making their pieces historically interesting. Overall the ring measures about 11/16 inch long by about 5/8 inch wide from side to side. Ring Size: about 4 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping). This ring was acquired through an estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition. It is estimated to date circa 1900.
