Antique Carnelian Cabochon Necklace Victorian Art Deco c.1900 Wedding Lavaliere

A Wonderful Antique Carnelian Cabochon Gemstone Necklace Victorian Art Deco c.1900, Fin De Cicle. This fabulous antique necklace dates to the Turn of the Last Century, circa 1900-1910's, late Victorian, Art Nouveau, Edwardian Period. The necklace holds a beautifully polished carnelian gemstone cabochon set into sterling silver setting. The carnelian measures about 14 x 8mm oval. The setting has a very unique design that has aged to a natural deep patina over the years. The piece has a gunmetal chain with sterling clasp mesauring 16 inches long. The pendant measures about 1 5/16 inches long with bail by about 3/4 inch wide. This piece was acquired through an estate collection and is estimated to date circa 1900.
