Vintage Unused 3/8" Pencil Bosal 16 Plait Cheeks and Bloodknot Latigo Tie Hanger

Stunning 3/8" expertly braided natural light rawhide pencil bosal with Juan Ortiz 1/2" bloodknot latigo tie-on hanger.Hand braided by a Peruvian master braider. Flexible rawhide core with life. Cheeks are 16 plait and the nose is much higher plait count.Inside measurements are 5-1/2" x 10-1/2". The nose tapers from about 3/4" in the center to 1/2" just above the hanger guides.The curve it has picked up is just from hanging up indoors under a bridle for many years. It has never touched dirty tack nor been near a horse.Bloodknot hanger is marked "Rawhide Mexico" which is Juan Ortiz's mark for Rawhide Mfg.Ships boxed for best protection.Questions?
