Stunning Alamo Saddlery Floral Tooled Dark Oil Headstall with Spanish Lace NOS

Gorgeous Alamo Saddlery headstall is floral tooled with black Spanish lacing, black horsehair tassels and dark antiqued conchos.The leather is super soft, supple and recently lightly treated with Skidmore's Leather Cream. It has been hung on a display bosal indoors only since new in 2010...never near a horse. Buckles can be replaced, but be aware while the crown is 3/4" wide, the cheeks are a bit wider where the buckles attach (about 1"). The leather is soft enough to work through there with almost no battle if you wish to upgrade to dressier 3/4" buckles, or even ones up to 1". Bit end conchos are a dark antiqued (probably nickel), thick and sturdy, with nicely tooled leather conchos for a great accent. They are marked Artesanias Tristan (Guadalajara?) on the back. NOTE on measurements: Max length from bit end to bit end is just under 39" so this was designed to be used with either a high purchase bit OR with a bosal. I had a 5/8" bosal hanging off this, so it can fit one that is 1/2" or 5/8" width. Brow is about 18-1/4" from end to end.Ships boxed & disassembled for best protection. Questions?
