INFANTRY KEPI INSIGNIA

Offered for your consideration is an M1858 brass State of New York kepi insignia. The insignia has attaching wires on the back, and measures 2"x1ΒΌ". It is in new unissued condition. The 7th New York Infantry wore a headgear insignia showing the "Smiling Sun" of the New York seal, and the stars and stripes shield of the Union. The American eagle perched on top, and the New York State motto "EXCELSIOR" (Ever Upward) is scrolled at the bottom.

Shipping in the US is $3.77. All other locations will be at cost. Please make payments or arrangements for payment within 5 days from the close of the sale. DO NOT SUBMIT ANY PAYMENTS UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN INVOICE!! Winning bidders will be contacted within 24 hours of the close of the sale with instructions as to making payments.
