This lace remnant is in perfect condition except for the edge where someone has cut this piece from something larger. The pattern is called Cluny Leavers Lace a variation of bobbin lace. Cluny Leavers has little bobbles to add texture. The piece is 31 by 33 inches and what is left is spotless and perfect. This piece could be made into cushion covers or cut into smaller motifs for applique or a skilled needleworker could finish the edge and make it into a lovely small tablecloth.
