Rare Antique Art Nouveau Gold Locket Victorian Woman Mermaid Waterlily Floral c.1890

A Wonderful and Rare Antique Art Nouveau Gold Locket Victorian Woman , Possible Mermaid in Water with Waterlily Motif, circa 1890. This beautiful antique piece in composed of antique gold filled and was made in the late Victorian - Art Nouveau period, circa 1890. I have never seen another quite like this. The locket depicts a woman, possibly a mermaid in water with waterlily florals with graceful flowing lines in repousse. The locket opens and closes and measures about 1 1/2 inches long with the bail by about 1 1/8 inches wide. The locket dates to the late 1800's and is in lovely overall condition for its age. A lovely and rare find.
