Vintage Fire Opal Ring 8ct Antique Retro Modernist 50s

A Fabulous Vintage Fire Opal Ring 8ct Antique Retro Modernist circa 1950s. This wonderful estate ring holds a substantial fire opal at its center measuring about 12 x 19mm and estimated at about 8 carats in weight. The opal has a surface inclusion that runs along the patterning of the stone and is natural to the stone. The setting is beautifully designed Mid Century Modernist composed of sterling silver with some filigree detailing. Overall the ring measures about 15/16 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide from side to side. Ring Size: about 7 1/4 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping). This ring was acquired through an estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition.
