Antique Rose de France Amethyst Ring Sterling Art Deco Vintage Wedding Ostby Barton 1920 Titanic

A Superb Antique Rose de France Amethyst Ring Sterling Silver Art Deco Floral Filigree Setting, Vintage circa 1920. The setting was made by Ostby and Barton, one of the leading jewelers of fine jewelry at the Turn of the Century. The setting is not marked and the marking could have been sized out over the years, but the setting is a recognizable design of Ostby Barton. One of the founders of Ostby Barton parished on the Titanic, making their pieces historically interesting. This ring has the most exquisite setting composed of sterling silver. The setting has beautiful filigree open work with crisp detailing. The center of the ring holds a beautiful faceted Rose de France amethyst gemstone measuring about 8 x 12mm. The entire ring measures about 5/8 inch long by about 5/8 inch wide from side to side. Ring Size: about 3 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping). This ring dates to the late Victorian to Art Deco period, circa 1920 and is in excellent vintage condition.
