A Wonderful Antique Arts and Crafts Banded Agate Silver Handmade Pendant Necklace c.1900. It is rare that I come across jewelry from the Arts and Crafts Era and I love this piece. The center holds a beautiful piece of banded agate gemstone and it is set in beautiful handmade antique sterling silver setting. The Arts and Crafts movement celebrated nature and honesty in design and craftsmanship. Overall this piece measures about 1 3/16 inches long with bail by about 1 5/8 inch wide. The gemstone measures about 10 x 13mm oval. It comes with the sterling paperclip chain as shown that measures about 16 inches long. This piece dates to circa 1900 and is in lovely vintage condition with patina to the silver.
