Antique Blue Zircon Wedding Ring Ostby Barton Titanic Vintage Art Deco Yellow Gold Floral c.1920

A Stunning Antique Blue Zircon Wedding Ring, Vintage Art Deco in Yellow Gold, by Ostby Barton c.1920. This wonderful antique ring was made by Ostby & Barton, one of the most well-known jewelry manufacturers of the period. The firm was founded in 1879 and seems to have disappeared about 1950. One of the principals, Engelhart Ostby, perished in 1912 aboard the Titanic, while his adult daughter survived. The center of this stunning piece holds a bright sparkling genuine natural blue zircon gemstone measuring about 8mm in diameter. That is about the size of a 2ct diamond. The setting is classic yellow gold with Art Deco detailing on the sides with gorgeous floral detailing. Overall the ring measures about 5/16 inch long by about 11/16 inch wide from side to side. Ring Size: about 6 1/4 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping). This piece was acquired through an estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition. A rare and beautiful ring.
