Vintage Georgian Victorian Revival Iolite Tanzanite Amethyst Violet Earrings

A Wonderful Pair of Vintage Victorian - Georgian Revival Earrings with Faceted French cut Iolite Gems in Etruscan Revival Gold Upon Sterling Silver Settings. These estate earrings are done in the Georgian - Victorian Revival Style and are adorned with approximately 5.2 x 5.2mm French cut faceted iolite gemstones at center. These stones have a similar color to tanzanite or high quality violet amethyst. The settings are Etruscan Revival Style, the elegant simplicity of ancient Roman jewelry found in archaeological digs, and composed of yellow gold upon sterling silver. Each earring measures about 13/16 inches long from wire top to bottom by about 3/8 inches wide from side to side. These earrings were acquired through an estate collection and are in lovely vintage condition.
