Antique Moonstone Opal Ring Victorian Rose Gold Wedding 1880

A Wonderful Antique Moonstone Ring, Victorian Rose Gold, 19th Century. This gorgeous antique ring holds an oval cut cabochon antique opal at its center. This type of opal is often refreed to as moonstone opal as it has a similar quality to moonstone but with the beautiful flashes of color of the opal. It is beautifully set in antique gold claw style setting. The gold has a hint of the Victorian rose hue (not the rose of pink gold of the 40's or today). Overall the ring measures about 5/16 inch long by about 11/16 inch wide from side to side. Ring Size: about 5 1/2 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping). This ring was acquired through an estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition.
