About the Ashkatan Kipchak R89 marimba mallet:
The Kipchak R89 is personally, my favorite marimba mallet because it sounds the complete marimba on excellent and firm voice, thanks to the hard core and the extra quality yarn.
We can call it semi-hard stick because it is less two-tone than the F86 type and the hard inner core prevail in its voice better. However, it sounds all octaves of marimba on beautiful, free from harsh voice. It is therefore an excellent choice for any pieces that requires a strong, soloistic play mode. Due to the proportion of head and handle its voice is brief, seedy, yet easy to use and simple: easy to learn any virtuoso pieces with its flexible handle.
