Netsuki-like lidded box cat hugging kitten sepia tone unknown material cm1499

This adorable little cat hugging a kitten is actually a lidded box. The cat being the bottom and the lid is the kitten and a melange of paws. Because of the sepia tone finish, this reminds me of netsukis although it is a little larger than most I've seen. It measures 3 inches ears to tail and 2 inches top to bottom. (8 x 5 cms.) It is made of some sort of composite material, off white with the sepia tone rubbed into the striations. It is not marked as to country of origin or material. Condition is perfect.

This would make a great presentation box to a cat lover. It would hold a ring or a small pair of earrings nicely. If you buy the jewelry from me I'll not add any shipping for the jewelry.
