Description: Here's a nice vintage over-sized matchbook cover from the Niles Bowling Center, located on Milwaukee Avenue in Niles, Illinois. The outside of the cover carries a couple of photos of the bowling alleys and lounge area. The phone number is given in the old style as "NILES 7-7300".
The inside describes the amenities that Niles Bowl had to offer: 32 Lanes, Automatic Pin Spotters, Cocktail Lounge - Restaurant, Air Conditioned, Banquet Hall, Ample Parking, Special Room For Supervised Nursery, and Free Instructions.

Date: Not dated, but I believe it's from the early to mid-1960s
Condition: Good, I'd say. The cover is very clean and the striker strip doesn't appear to show any evidence of use. However, there's some damage to the striker strip area due to the careless removal of the staple that held the matches. There's also an additional set of staple holes which pass through the striker strip and both sides of the cover. (Please see scans.)
