THE PARKWAY RESTAURANT - Brockton, Massachusetts - Vintage Matchbook Cover
Description: Here's a nice vintage standard-sized matchbook cover from the Parkway Restaurant and Lounge, located on Oak Street in Brockton, Massachusetts. It offered a Complete Luncheon and Dinner Menu featuring Steaks, Chops, Lobster, and Greek Dishes.
There's no printing on the inside.

Date: Not dated, but probably from the 1960s or 1970s
Condition: Good, I'd say. The cover is only lightly soiled and the striker strip appears to show only minimal use. However, the striker strip area has some damage due to the rough removal of the staple that held the matches. There's also an additional set of staple holes which pass through the striker strip and the back side of the cover. The front section of the cover (where the coat of arms appears) also appears to be slightly faded. (Please see scans.)
