CATALINA Motor Lodge - Matchbook Cover - Charlotte, North Carolina
Description: Here's a standard-size matchbook advertising the "Fabulous" Catalina Motor Lodge, a motel in Charlotte, N.C. It belonged to the Quality Courts Motels association.
The inside indicates the motel had 109 units plus 2 meeting rooms, "All Color TV", "Courtesy Coffee Units", and was adjacent to Staley's Restaurant. They accepted credit cards from American Express, Phillips 66, and Diners.

Condition: Good, I'd say. The cover is a bit soiled, but the striker strip doesn't show any evidence of use. Any unused matches and the stubs were completely removed, probably with the staple also being removed and replaced. (Please see scans.)
