GRANADA Mexican Restaurant - Humorous Matchbook Cover - Burbank, California
Description: Here's a humorous standard-size matchbook advertising Granada, a restaurant in Burbank, California. The outside is a shiny gold color and says simply, "WHERE IN THE HELL DID I GET THESE!", opposite a giant question mark.
The inside actually carries the advertising for the restaurant, which served "FINE MEXICAN FOOD".
Produced by Starr Match.
Actual Size: approx. 2" x 1½" (closed)
Date: Not dated, but probably from the late 1980s.
Condition: Good, I'd say. The cover is a just a bit soiled, although the scanner reflection off the shiny gold surface makes it look worse than it is (while washing out the color). The striker strip doesn't show any evidence of use. All the matches have been removed. (Please see scans.)
**NOTE**: Shipping charges are discounted when more than one of my items are purchased at the same time. See what else I have to offer!
