1910 Artistic Embossed Post Card - "IN LOVE"
Here's an interesting antique postcard designed to resemble a matted and framed painting of a young couple conversing in what appears to be a German tavern. It's titled "IN LOVE". The frame area is embossed.
There doesn't appear to be any information on the card as to artist or publisher.
The card is postmarked from Warrenton, Missouri, on an illegible date (probably June or July) in 1910, and is addressed to a Miss Evelyn Mueller in Chesterfield, Mo., from someone named Ida.
Size: approx. 3-3/8" x 5-3/8"
Date: Postmarked 1910 but the card itself has no copyright date.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. It's obviously postally used but is generally clean, although there's a tiny scrape right on the young woman's nose. The edges and corners are only slightly worn. (Please see scans.)
