The GoldStars CD Purple Girlfriend FREAKBEAT SURF B3 ~ FREE SHIPPING

Hello. I spent nearly 10 years selling on that other site (you can check my feedback there; It's under the same ID as this one; over 3200 positives, 99.7%). But I thought I'd give this new site a try.
I'm just getting started here, so please excuse the amateur appearance. I'll have the place looking better shortly.
Like all of my cds, this is an Original CD, with original inserts (NO CD-Rs or bootlegs).....
Here's some info or review ......When I see an album title making use of a weird word picture, I become overjoyed. You know the kind - Yellow Mint Overcoat, Green Sunglass Moonlight - obtuse stuff like that. When I see a band with the creativity to come up with some word grouping that paints an interesting picture I often find the music contained within to display the same type of unusual creativity. Most times, it’s 60’s psychedelic-based space rock. Lots of times it?s overthought, overplayed, overbearing crap. Thankfully, in the case of The Goldstars new CD Purple Girlfriend, it’s more of the ’60’s garage-psyche variety than the endless wanking type. Featuring the once-familiar, now rare classic garage band line-up of guitar, bass, drums and organ, the Goldstars play the kind of music you used to hear at a friend’s party in the ’60’s when their parents were away on vacation and some kids from school would come over to the house and jam. Though in the Goldstars? case, the music sounds pretty accomplished and not the product of amateurs. In fact, like most great ’60’s bands, the Goldstars have a knack for making the difficult seem simple - without a modicum of talent, the rocking Farfisa stuff would sound cheesy as hell. Actually it still does sound kinda cheesy, but it is pulled off in a fun, offhanded way that makes you more concerned about how you look while dancing to it than about the music itself. Can a bunch of sprightly ’60’s themed garage rock songs be enough for us to recommend you spend your hard earned money on the album containing them? When they sound this good, are this fun, and make you dance this much - yes. This is great summer stuff and I would suggest anyone into vintage rock sounds and even some punk check this album out. After all, ’60’s garage rock is where punk really originated anyway. ......
