Hello. I spent nearly 10 years selling on that other site (you can check my feedback there; It's under the same ID as this one; over 3200 positives, 99.7%). But I thought I'd give this new site a try.
I'm just getting started here, so please excuse the amateur appearance. I'll have the place looking better shortly.

The Boggs perform music outside of time, from the zero hour. They turn over the dirty underbelly of folk forgotten and neglected by countless soft renderings. Like the early British blues movement, The Boggs have gone in search of their roots and in the process developed an original music. It is at times loud and fast—a massive churning of strings with back beat thundering beneath. At other times, it is quiet and dark—the eerie phrasing of voice and instrument sung from somewhere in those dark corners where fate and fortune co-mingle. Formed in the winter of 2001, The Boggs have quickly become one of the most talked about bands in NYC. Straying from irony, they describe their music as archival no-wave, linking the musical strains that traverse centuries of Americana. Songwriter, singer, and guitarist Jason Friedman, slide guitarist Ezekiel Healy, drummer Brad Conroy, and banjoist David Wofford (who replaced Phil Roebuck in July 2001) indulge their taste for post-rock/punk, roots and blues, and garage rock, at the city’s many eclectic music stores. Live, they come off as a furious blur of kinetic energy.
