This listing is for one square foot, a 12" x 12" piece. Actual size is a bit larger. Cut from a roll of new screen. One edge may have a hem.
Other sizes available. We stock this material in a 36" width, ready for immediate shipment or local pickup in Baltimore MD. Full rolls available up to 72" wide x 100', please allow 1 - 2 weeks lead time.
USAGE: When only pure copper will do. Originally intended for shielding electronic equipment. Faraday cages, RF & tempest shielding, EMI & RFI screens, biocircuit. Installs behind sheet rock. Grounding grids, antenna ground planes, lightning arrestors. Restoration of antique and vintage radios and televisions.
* NOT ideal for finished items: Bronze screen is better suited for furniture or windows.
HANDLING: Flimsy, like thin cardboard. Soft metal, will hold its shape when you bend it slightly. Cuts easily with scissors. A short video clip will be uploaded soon to YouTube, the link will be posted here.
MATERIAL SPECS: Copper, 99.9% pure. High resistance to acids and corrosion. Soft and malleable compared to brass or bronze. Excellent electrical & thermal conductivity, easily soldered.
