Picture-Word Cards for Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? for ESL & Primary in PDF

Picture-Word Cards for Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? includes three different types of picture-word cards. (The story itself and the illustrations from the book is Not included, but this story can be found in many libraries.) The first has a name of an animal and a real life photo of it. The second card type has the color names and colors (in various shapes), and the third card type has a more altered animal version with appropriate titles as the blue horse and white dog. All three types are shown in the cover page above.This is very helpful to younger children and ESOL students.
I use these to introduce the new words before reading, reconnect the vocabulary after reading the first time, use for retelling the sequence of the story, and to check for oral vocabulary after a few readings and vocabulary practice. (These cards are also terrific for sorting and categorizing animals and colors. And, to teach adjectives!)

All the picture-word cards that are included are the following:
