Offering a gorgeous porcelain de Sphinx Maastricht Holland Delft Blue Harness Horse and Carriage Wall Charger Plaque Hanging....in a rare and regal shape which measures approximately 19 1/4" L x 13 3/4" W. Known as "The Marriage Cart" and manufactured in the late 1800's.
The Petrus Regouts Maastricht Logo appears on the back with an engraved number "1."
Also affixed to the back is a "ticket-like" sticker with "de Sphinx Maastricht Holland Fijn, Aardewerk Glas, Kristal" printed on it.
It appears to have been numbered "534/10??" - looks like 1044 but last two digits are difficult to decipher.
Two holes in top with wire for wall hanging.
Beautiful delft blues and whites in a horse lovers design.
Condition: One edge has several small darkened spots which I have highlighted in one of the photos. There also is some crazing which I have tried to capture in the photos.
