The cards feature figures from a wide range of myths. Egyptian, Native American, Hindu and Celtic mythology blend with surprising ease under Haindl's magical touch. Symbolism is rife throughout the deck, with the rune and astrological symbol related to each card printed around the edge of each image.

Creator of the deck, Hermann Haindl, approached the creation of this deck in a very innovative way. He took his own paintings, picking out small portions that represented the energy of the card he was working with. Many of the images which adorn each card have been taken from the same painting which gives them a unique underlying connection to one another.

Included with the 78-card deck is a short instructional booklet that explains the meanings of each card and contains instructions on how to use the 'Hagall Spread' - A tarot spread which forms the shape of the Hagall ('Hailstone') and forms the pattern of the universe.
