The long history of the rise of human civilization cannot be understood without delving into the universal quest of
every culture in every corner of the globe to comprehend and master interactions with others and also with the natural
world. Just as in today’s societies, virtually all ancient cultures devised spiritually based principles that provided
explanations of the unexplained and formed the basis of individual behavior and social norms. Many have survived
and still thrive today.
These genuine bronze and silver coins were minted over a span of two millennia by the actual civilizations that
practiced each of the 12 most important religions of antiquity. Naturally, we were able to create only a limited number
of collections−the result of great effort by a group of dedicated, professional numismatists over a period of years who
have searched the world over for a few surviving specimens of coins from these different cultures. The entire
collection of coins pre-date modern manufacturing methods and were struck or cast by ancient minting methods. No
two collections of coins are exactly the same. Each coin is protected in an archival capsule and beautifully displayed
in a deluxe custom-made cherry hardwood case. The case features a rich, forest green velour-like interior and an
engraved plaque inscribed with a list of the coins. The deluxe case and a certificate of authenticity come packaged in
an attractive black embossed gift box.
