Antique Metal Pewter? Dark Silver Color Pin

I have for sale an antique pewter? pin. At least that is what I think it is. It is a matte silver colour and all I can tell you is it is made of some kind of metal. I has the real old style of pin on the back as pictured. It is about 1 1/4" wide at the top and 2" long. It is full of indents or holes without the gems put in.
