Cleaner™ is an environmentally friendly gel formula that is added to the pool just prior to covering. This amazing product works hard to maintain clarity through winter shut-down. No matter what type of pool or sanitizer program you are using, Ahh-Some Winter Pool Clarifier & Bio-Cleaner will provide ongoing support and allow you to have cleaner, clearer water in the spring. Just follow these simple instructions and you’ll be amazed at the difference Ahh-Some Winter Pool Clarifier & Bio-Cleaner will make. Like we tell people, “ it’s not magic, it’s science”.
One container of Ahh-Some Winter Pool Clarifier & Bio-Cleaner treats up to 15,000 gallons. Ideally, you mix the gel in a pail of water so it dissolves. Now, pour the solution into the pool at various locations to ensure coverage. Note: If your water level is still up and your filter and pump can still operate, you may wish to circulate the water for a few hours. This is not necessary, however, if you can circulate it for a few hours, this will allow for broader circulation.
We recommend that you shock the pool with an appropriate amount of your typical oxidizer or sanitizer. Whatever you use in the summer months, use the same thing now. It doesn’t matter. We just want to make sure that you do not add chlorine to a pool that is sanitized with a product that is not compatible with chlorine. Use approximately 1 pound or 1 gallon of shock for each 6 ounce container of Ahh-Some Winter Pool Clarifier & Bio-Cleaner. Non-Chlorine shock is also fine to use in this situation.
Now you can finish winterizing the pool according to the instructions you have been given by the manufacturer or the dealer who installed your pool. There is no need to add any other chemicals or products to the water after the Ahh-Some Winter Pool Clarifier & Bio-Cleaner and the shock are added. We recommend that you use a good quality pool cover to keep out large amounts of particulates, sunlight, and debris.
In the spring, when you uncover the pool, we recommend that you add Ahh-Some Water Clarifier & Bio-Cleaner™. This will assure that your water will remain safe, clean and sparkling clear.
