This a practical and fun hat-scarf set. I have hand-crocheted this set in Coat's Casual Cot'n cotton/acrylic mix yarn, in color Atlantis, a mix of deep blue, wine, white and green. It's a difficult-to-describe mix but it's beautiful, as you can see from the closeup. The scarf measures approximately 6" wide and a generous 92" long, excluding fringe. The hat measures 21-22" and is 8" long. The fringe is a very neat double-tie, which keeps the fringe from raveling. The matching hat is flattering to both men and women.
If you can't wear wool, don't like wool, or you live in a climate where the weather is more temperate, this is the set for you. The perfect mix of cotton and acrylic, with a little nylon thrown in for extra stability makes this set especially carefree.
It is machine washable and dryable on the delicate or knit setting.
