KittyWear Original Crochet Beaded Cat Collars
"Midnight Rose"
100% crochet cotton Black with black sequins and seed beads and embellished with Cherry Red satin ribbon roses.
These beautiful collars come in three basic sizes and are hand crocheted with glass seed beads and/or sequins. Embellishments are then hand sewn and these include fancy beads, satin ribbon roses and/or rhinestones set with a special glue. The back of the collars are then fused with cotton or rayon twill for sturdiness and comfort and hand-dyed to match the crochet cotton color. The closure is a breakaway safety buckle for cats and small dogs. A small bell is optional at buyer's request.
The designs for my collars were created with the help of my fur kids and have been tested extensively for fit, safety and comfort. Some cats have sensitivity to commercially-available collars and they suffer hair loss or worse around the neck. Having had this problem in my own household, I kept this in mind when developing these collars. I wanted the fabric to breathe and not irritate. These collars are also designed for a close but comfortable fit. The three basic sizes are based on my own felines and they are as follows:
Small: 8"(Small cats and kittens from 5 months to 1 year)
Medium: 10" (Medium cats, approximately 10-12 lbs)
Large: 11"(Large cats such as Maine Coons)
If your cat does not meet any of these three basic sizes you should request a custom collar. There is no additional charge for this. Simply send me your cat's total neck measurement. Tag or charm holders are available on request at no extra charge. Every cat is different in their needs and desires, as are their human companions, and this is what Kittywear Collars are designed for. Not every cat likes bells, nor do their human companions, although I personally find them very useful for kittens so they don't get stepped on or shot across the room like a football by mistake.
Collars with safety breakaway buckles are now used exclusively in any design I have listed in my auctions and/or stores. These are for both indoor and outdoor cats, and come with bells and tag holders at the buyer's request.
