I found these clever little poodles at an estate sale recently and assumed from the other types of jewelry there that these were vintage. When I read the cartouches on the back, I was even more sure...I thought. Three cartouches read Mimi di N, a copyright symbol, and 1976 on each dog. I was more surprised when I looked them up that they are still available today!
That just proves to me that they are a great design that has been going strong for a number of years now! Two well-groomed goldtone poodles watch each other on either side of an interlocking buckle. They measure about 2" x 4-1/2" and are in lovely shape. There was no belt with them as is sold with new stock, so we can probably assume that they are a bit more "mature" than most.
They are a darling set, definitely one of the incomparable designs from Mimi di N, and whether they are young pups or mature, they still "have a lot of living to do!"
