Coro Pegasus necklace gold plate collar buckle-like clasp rare vintage jewelry ll1086

This collar style necklace is a vintage piece from Coro and is marked with the Pegasus horse. As a collar this piece is meant to be worn against the neck and not lying flat on the collar bone. The collar is made of slithery north-south thin links 1/2 inch wide, joined by a snap-down clasp that looks a bit like a buckle.

The necklace is marked on the back of the clasp, Coro (with the horse) Des Pat Pend. The length of the necklace is 15.5 inches including the clasp. Condition is excellent for its age. It is not as glittering as it once was but the only gold wear is a couple of specks on the underside. If you dress fashion dolls, this might serve as a classy belt.
