A charming made-in-Japan ceramic planter for the nursery. This one is marked Japan 7702 on the bottom but has no company stamp or sticker. It is typical of 1950s Japan animal ceramics.
It is a curly lamb pulling a little cart with A B C, one letter to a side. The piece is in mint unused condition except for what looks like a small ink mark on the back. I did get a similar mark off the front so this one might come off. A really sweet piece for a small plant or to tuck an adorable baby outfit or gift certificate into for a baby shower. The whole planter is 5 x 8 inches and the planter container is 4 x 3 x 3½ inches.
