A Wonderful Regal Antique Large Amethyst and Seed Pearl Ring, Vintage Victorian Era, 19th Century, in Ornate 14K European Gold Setting. This ring reminds me of the rings one sees adorning the hands of Royalty in period portraits. The center of this antique ring holds a stunning large, deep, rich, amethyst gemstone measuring about 16mm in diameter. The gemstone has so much more sparkle and life in person than what is seen in the photos. The ring is adorned with genuine Victorian seed pearls and is set in a European 14K Gold setting. The sides of the ring have wonderful scrolling period details and the top is made of handmade gold filigree. Overall the ring measures about 1 inch long by about 7/8 inch wide from side to side.
