What a conversation piece!!!!
One of a kind entirely hand made in the artist's studio in Kimberley, Ontario.
Thoses houses are quite wild, is it a windy day or are they dancing?
the choice is for you to make,
On black background in vivid colors the artist's technique working with ht glass
and achieving this applique effect is quite stunning.
Fused glass, made in multiples layers, differents finish.
Top part is rugged in pink with some stars under the glaze very faint, bottom part has blue and white mottlesdesign with burgundy red lines. Center & sides in black glossy finish with applique houses.
13 1/2 inches tall x 10 inches at widest point x 5 1/2 inches thick,
Opening is 2 1/4 x 2 inches alomost oval.
We can see the pontil mark on underside and the artist signature & year of making.
In excellent preowned condition.,
About shipping, glass is heavy and need to double boxed.
