This double strand of pearls have such nice color and such a nice sterling silver clasp that I took them to a jeweler to see if they were genuine. They aren't but if you love pearls but can't afford the real thing, these are a wonderful option.
The pearls are graduated with the largest pearl being about 5mm in diameter. The color is a warm creamy off white. The working box clasp is made of sterling silver filigree. My best guess to age is anywhere from the 1930s to 1950s and I am leaning toward the earlier end.
Condition is as fine as vintage faux pearls can get. The clasp could benefit from a cleaning if you prefer it shiny. Otherwise it is ready to wear.
