This set of 9. decorative and useful tableware dishes, date to ca. 1910.
These come from a Swedish, private collection.
Made of very fine almost translucent porcelain and decorated with a well balanced design of trailing willow foliage, flowers and dancing cranes which all symbolize the part of the four seasons.
This is very much in keeping with the tradition of “Good Food” should not only taste excellent, but should also look splendid when served.
Very well made, both ornamental and practical for
serving individual portions of starters, main course food, or deserts.
Also suitable for serving after dinner chocolates, with perhaps tea or coffee.
Approximate size in centimeters is; H.2.8 x L. 10.5 x W.11.5. Weight 420 grams ( less the ½ a lb)
Condition; The dishes are in good condition. No small chips or cracks etc.
