A Collectable Handmade, Gold Decorated Bottle.
This is a collectable 1925, Art Deco scent bottle, with purple etched stopper and using 18 carat gold trace decorations on the main body, which is based on a classical calabash shape.
Made in Northern Austria, with the model number of IEW Glass 1000, made by the Seigburgh Studio by Zweillig Harter.
Although Modern Design, it has design roots which go way back to the ancient Calabash and Amphora’s used for the storage of liquids, for perfumes and other personal colognes.
A smaller shimmering gold bottle, ideal for decorating the bedroom dresser.. Used for, Eau de Cologne, personal scents, or perhaps for aroma therapy
Due to the colours and design; it does prefer a bit of artificial or sunlight, in order to bring it alive. It is not an object, to have sulking in a dark corner somewhere.
Well balanced use of colours and etched design. Elegant and functional styling, is the most suitable description.
