This is a RARE , ORIGINAL LIMITED-EDITION CLOISONNE SPORTS STADIUM JEWELRY-QUALITY PIN that was sold at PHILADELPHIA'S VETERANS STADIUM in 1995 to celebrate the (NOW DEMOLISHED) stadium's "SILVER SEASON!" The pin is new and unused and is still on its' original card-mount.

Vet Stadium, Philadelphia, home of the Phillies Baseball Team and Eagles Football Team during it's lifespan, opened in 4/71. This pin celebrates the SILVER SEASON of 1995. The stadium was imploded in March, 2004 - a scant nine years after this pin was issued in limited quantities!

THIS ITEM:

This beautiful and rare CLOISONNE - STYLE pin is a circle-design with a banner which extends on each side . The circle-portion measures approx. 1" in diameter and the pin measures approx. 1 1/2" from one banner end to the other.
It uses deep blue, red and black enamel with the gold metal to feature the PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES original Baseball Logo, an image of the LIBERTY BELL agains a pinstripe background and the legends: "VETERANS STADIUM 1971 - 1995" and "The Silver Season"

The pin in in very good / excellent condition. New and Unused on its' original card mounting.
The accompanying photo shows the actual VETERANS STADIUM CLOISONNE PIN, mounted on the card. I had to lighten the exposure on this photo a bit to make the design more visable in the photo. All of the lettering and designs are clearly visible on the actual pin.
