2x EVOTEARS Omega eye drops 3 ml

The eyes are dry and irritated or the eyelids are red and painful. You wake up in the morning with crusty eyelids. This could indicate meibomian gland dysfunction (MDD). MDD leads to a disruption of the lipid (oil) phase of the tear film - the tear can no longer be effectively protected from evaporation.

Typical symptoms of a lipid phase disorder caused by MDD are
• red eyes and eyelid edges or crusty eyelids
• burning eyes
• watery eyes
• severe discomfort in the morning that improves over the course of the day

Causes of a lipid phase disorder due to MDD include: B.
• Hormone therapy (e.g. birth control pills)
• Hormonal changes (e.g. menopause)
• Age-related dry eyes
• Meibomian gland dysfunction
