The Good Mornings play perfect, hazy, acoustic rock that's perhaps best typified by the cozy textures and lazy-Sunday-by-the-fire lyrics of "California," where singer Carmen Electra Paradise's languid vocals are backed by a drowsy acoustic bass and distant background voices. On "That's Fo' Sho'," Paradise gives the tart lyrics of the down-home acoustic blues an otherworldly innocence, while "One Chance" is equally ethereal and mysterious.
