Lefton China Fan-shape Dogwood Trinket Box Sign/Number

This sweet Dogwood Flower Trinket Box Signed/Numbered by Lefton China in Japan, is a delicately painted and finely crafted piece. Fan shaped, it is an ample size for storing jewelry or small memorabilia. The lid has a gold border painted on the lower sides & underneath. There are some condition problems where some gold has rubbed off on one corner and where the border painting was imperfect in manufacturing. Since these are mostly underneath, they are not noticeable with the lid on. One edge of the box itself has a slight scallop in it due to the manufacturing process (not a chip), which can be seen in photo 4 to the left of the flower. There are flowers on the top, the front & the back. It bears the Lefton China Tag as well as The Lefton Crown Stamp, and it's numbered 02872. There are no chips, fleabites, or crackling present. We believe this piece to be in Near Mint Condition.
