A typical of the '70s: vintage polo coat. This one made by UTEX ( well known company during the 70s and 80s).
With an elegant-daily casual appeal, polo coats were initially created in England, imported to US by Brooks Brother in 1910, where they became an all time American classic. This season they reign supreme.
This one is made of thick wool blend (60% pure wool, and 40% rayon).
The coat is in excellent condition. Seems to have been gently worn, but did not affect the fabric, since it is a very dense weave with sturdy stitches. It appears to be mostly handmade (which was common in eastern Europe's manufactures during the 70s). Which is a great vintage quality, and it will cost a lot today. This is also why vintage coat are also very exquisite and reliable. They are made to last. The color and cut: absolutely "must have" these days. It's versatile and with proper care, can last many more years, looking perfect.
Size 40. Pls review the measurements (laying flat) since sometime vintage sizes could be different:
* arm pit to arm pit, approx. 23 inches
* center back length, approx. 41 inches
* sleeve length, from arm pit to end, approx. 25 inches
