This listing is for 5 Birks silverplated dinner forks. They are marked on the back Birks Pat. 04. They are not marked either sterling or plate but they are obviously plate as there is a slight bit of wear on the back of some of the tines. Birks is Canada's premiere silver maker and their plate is very heavily applied. That these are showing some wear indicates they are quite old.
I don't know the pattern. Birks website no longer offers silver flatware. They are monogrammed in an old english style. It might be CJL or CTH or F. Birks styles are very classic so these forks will blend well with hundreds of patterns and will come in handy for large buffets when your own service is inadequate.
As a bonus I am including a single matching coffee spoon that came with this lot. The spoon has been used but has no wear marks. The forks are 7½ inches and the spoon is 5½ inches.
