This is one of a group of finished dolls that came from a very talented dollmaker and teacher in another city. These are ready to dress and make your own and give them the home they've been waiting for! I'm pricing these completed dolls reasonably to find them homes; if you're a doll maker or collector, you know how much work is involved to bring one to this stage! She was stored for some years but has survived nicely.
This is a lovely doll, the molds produced by Doll Artworks but discontinued now, from a creation by Paulette Aprile. She was stunning enough to be a nominee for the 1991 Dolls Award of Excellence. She is 28" tall, cloth body, porcelain head, s/p, 1/2 arms and legs. She's been created with big blue eyes and lots of long blonde curly hair...much like the one created for their ad.
She's totally ready to dress and display...none of the work and all the fun...and ready to take her place in a collection.
