This listing features a pair of lovely Blue Mabe Pearl sterling silver earrings. The Mabe pearl is irredscent light blue with rainbow colors, encased in solid Sterling Silver (please ignore the pink or yellow glare in the photo's). The Pearl is antique cut shape with rounded corners and is approximately 12x16mm in size.The earrings have been coated with high polished Rhodium for a rust inhibitor. A very elegant piece. We have a matching pendant enhancers and matching rings in our eCRATER store as well; can also order matching cufflinks. Mabe pearls are considered semi-spherical cultured pearls that grow against the inside of the oyster shell, rather than inside the body of the oyster as is the case for other cultured pearls. Because they grow on the inside of the oyster shell, they have a flat side instead of being round.
