Description:
A small Australian pottery vase, possibly by Greg Daly,
of ovoid form and decorated with stippled stripes of blue, white and red,
signed 'D' to the underside and the number 4,
10cm high
Measurements:
Height: 10 cm Width / Diameter: 8 cm
Item Date: probably third quarter of the 20th Century
Our expert's additional comments:
Greg Daly (born 1954) is a well-known Australian potter. He usually signs his works in full. However, it is not inconceivable that he uses an initial for smaller pieces. Values quoted are for the vase as it stands but would rise to nearer US$600-800 if it could be attributed to Daly.
